This young crow has survived the dangerous first summer out of the nest and is more of a teenager than a fledgling now. You can see the faint hint the baby crow's pink mouth edge at the base of the beak and the eyes have switched from the early blue colour to a smokey grey — soon to turn brown like the adult crows. This is Lucky, offspring of Marvin and Mavis, looking forward to heading to the roost and having adult crow adventures.
